A Flare for Double Denim

Okay. Three things. 1. THIS DENIM SHIRT. I have been looking foreverrrr for a thin, ultra-soft, color-varied, western-style denim shirt that wasn’t $300, and I recently found the perfect specimen at AEO ($49!). I am in love. It’s so light, airy, and has a perfect drape (if in between sizes, size up). So. Happy. 2.

Spring Surprises

So far, spring for us has been full of all kinds of surprises. First, we recently made a temporary move to Texas for my husband’s work with barely a week’s notice, and had a blast making a fun, adventurous road trip out of it for our littles (and us!). Next, I wasn’t really expecting to…

Chic Street

We shot this on theeee most beautiful day in Portland. Bright blue skies, blooming, flowering beauties everywhere…. My husband and I just spent the morning exploring the city, and here are some snaps of one my favorite streets near China Town. Wearing the Sunshine

Good morning! So. It seems I’m always busting out my trusty, yellow, J.Crew coat this time of year, and I think it’s because we’re usually teased with spring-like weather, only to be yanked back to gloomy, snowy, slushy winter (such is the nature of transitional weather, I know). Wearing my yella fella just helps to compensate

Spring is “technically” here (depends on where you reside, really), and I want to share a few lipsticks I think will look great this season. Colors are ranging from nude, coral, and strawberry red. It’s all about  subtlety, or light and airy. On a daily

Flared Up

Ready your ankles because there’s about ta be a whole lotta room in the region below your calf and above your foot. That’s right, wide-leg, flared, and trouser jeans are staking a claim for legitimacy this season. The ol’ skinny jean + heel look is a trusty standby but now the fashion gods are asking

Blushin' Blooms

The day we shot this just might have been the windiest day I have experienced in a long while – perhaps ever – but in between mighty gusts, it was also one of the loveliest. Rows and rows of cherry blossom trees in full bloom, showering petals like pink fairy dust, was just a magical sight to

Some Enchanted Evening

This past weekend, my husband and I headed to Portland for a work thing, but we made it a fun, kidless, relaxing getaway (thanks to amazing in-laws!!). We attended an awards ceremony one of the nights, and since it wasn’t formal, I decided to pair my Anthropologie lace top with a jumpsuit I’ve had for ages.
