It isn’t truly winter until ya wear some fair isle. Am I right? Or am I right. I wore this on that magical, gingerbread-house-competition night we had last week, and really regretted my shoe choice when I saw how hard it was snowing when we got there! It all worked out in the end, though, because the lodge we went to had a heated, drop-off driveway area. My husband graciously kicked me, grandma, and the kids out there, so crisis averted! 
Back to my outfit, though…. I just love fair isle anything – it’s probably the Irish in me (what? Scotland is close to Ireland!). It’s so classic, and just screams winter-cozy!
