We have this video of our barely-year-old first born where she was wearing pink headband-sunglasses, and kept saying, “I got, I got, I got my swasses on!” It’s one of the very few videos we have of her. Our computer crashed last year, and we lost all photos and videos – from before she was born, all the way up to our fourth born’s second year. Still takes my breath away, but I’m hopeful we’ll be able to recover them one day? Fortunately, I was pretty faithful at posting photos, and a few videos here and there, on Facebook, since it was kind of my only platform to stay connected with my family back in Georgia. I’m so grateful I did that! Now I can still see that little pixie face with her wispy blonde hair all bunched-up underneath her “swasses,” and hear that precious, tiny voice talking, talking, talking.

All that to say, I’m a Swasses Girl. Always wearing ’em because I’m half blind, and rarely fuss with full makeup 😉 Truth.

I looove this shirt! It runs humongo huge, but it just makes it more versatile to wear, in my book. I’ve been wearing it tied, as above, but I’ll also be tucking and belting – each completely changes the style and silhouette, making it feel like a fresh, new piece. Gotta love fun pieces like that
