Well, yesterday was quite a Gift from the Lord. We’ve been somewhat marooned inside our home for days-on-end, because of the horrible smoke from the all the wildfires around here, lately. But yesterday, the air cleared for the entire day, and we enjoyed every minute of it, playing at a little nearby water park with some very sweet friends of ours. It really was such a Gift to spend our very last day of summer this way! By the time we got home, the smoke had already started rolling back in, and now we are shrouded, again. But we had yesterday. And today we start a brand-new school year, which makes me excited for fall! And for moving into our new home in (hopefully) the next four weeks, or so!

So, it’s no secret florals are still going Strong for fall, and I couldn’t be more pleased about it. Or this dress. I’m partnering up with the lovely Donna Morgan for this post, and am in love with this new-for-fall floral frock! It’s as flattering as it is whimsical, and kept easy pace with four certain Sunday whimsies in my life.;)      

My woven leather bag is by Welden, and is one I keep reaching for…. So timeless, so well-crafted, so beautiful.

Our camera completely broke while shooting this a few weeks ago (the shutter got stuck), but we just her back, and will be getting back into a regular shooting/blogging rhythm, again – aiming to, anyway, until we move!
