As the colder, fall air creeps in, it’s hard not to pine over those warm, balmy, sunny, days spent in sundresses… and as we think of that, it’s hard not to long for that healthy, naturally-glowy skin we had in warmer months! Well, I’m here to tell ya that “healthy, glowy” skin isn’t just for warm, summery days. If you adjust your skincare regime, you can have this kind of skin all year ’round!
Soon, we will all be piling on layers and layers, but there’s no need to hide behind them!
Choose the right moisturizer, and “live a lot” this winter… 😉 The bitter cold winds of winter can leave our skin feeling dry, flaky, and chapped, and no one wants to sport that for months on end, right? I know I don’t!!

I am going to highlight a few products and tips to help nurture your skin this winter; these may vary depending on your skin (oily, dry, or combo), so choose carefully before purchasing.
Moisturizers
Make sure you are using a moisturizer, even if you tend to lean toward the oily side. It’s so important for your skin to stay hydrated! I have extremely sensitive skin, and it stays red year-round. One of my favorite moisturizers is from the Babor skincare line – definitely a treat, and is great if you need a little boost.

A moisturizer that’s a little more economical is Kiehl’s Ultra Facial moisturizer, which is another fave of mine. It is super light-weight, and it has an SPF of 30!! Perfect for protecting for skin against the winter sun,  which may not be intense, but it still has the power to damage to our skin.

Hands/Body
My hands are constantly in water, whether I’m shampooing someone, or washing my hands in between makeup applications; I’m ALWAYS putting lotion on them. Luckily, I work with products that are a little more gentle on my skin, or it could be much worse!
Eufora’s beautifying serum is literally a GOD SEND!! It’s a catch all, if you’ve ever seen the movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, where the father uses Windex for everything, that’s what I do with this beautifying serum. Seriously, it’s no joke. Apply it to your hands, just a small amount (a little goes a long way) and your hands will feel amazing, I promise. Â You can also use this as a moisturizer for your face; apply straight to your face for the full effect, or add a pump to your favorite moisturizer. One last trick… put this on your scalp, it helps with eczema and psoriasis. This is on the top of my list!

Another great hand crème is Tokyo Milk… It’s been forever since I’ve used this brand, but I love them! Great products and great packaging. Shea butter is a good ingredient to look for while shopping for hand and body crèmes.
