Gooood morning! I had THE best time last night at Anthropologie’s pre-opening party for their store in Portland! I met so many incredible, and super talented people – including a woman that was on the team that created the dress I wore to the event. She took a snap of me to send to the designer because she said she’d be thrilled to see how I styled it (blush), because it was her favorite design in the whole collection. How special was that?? I also met a kind, hilarious young woman, named Lindsay, that has created this amazing website called thefablab.com that “brings science to life through beautiful, useful DIY projects.” Homeschool-mom score!! She’s currently casting her fourth season for her YouTube show, and asked if my kids might be interested, so we shall seeeee….. My kids might be totally famous, soon!;) Seriously though, if you have kids, you should check her out – such a great, FUN science resource for youngsters. Very happy to have connected with her, and so many others, last night! I’ve been invited to take a private tour of Anthro’s newly expanded store next week, where I get to meet the team, and take lotsa photos, so I plan to do a full post about it all after that. Can’t wait to show you all!
