I am talking Two Pieces, this morning, which is kind of a big deal for me. Ever since having my last kiddo, wearing bikinis has always been something I wasn’t quiiite comfortable doing, because of stretch marks. Mine weren’t bad – very small/faint – but I still felt like, hmmm those are best under a one-piece. Which is okay! I felt totally comfortable with that. And I had some super-cute one-pieces to wear.;) This year, and I hope this gives some encouragement to you mamas with baby-love marks, my stretch marks were not even visible to me – I have to look really, really, close, and turn in a certain light to see them, and I have done NOTHING (other than doing my regular moisturizing post-shower?) to get rid of them. Perhaps it’s the gaining back of skin elasticity over time, plus fading? All this to say, if troubled over your’s, don’t lose heart, and just be patient. They might not ever completely go away, but there is a great chance they’ll look a whole lot better – maybe even to the point that you can’t even see them – just given some time. Hot dog! I hope you can put any skin/body issues aside that you might have (we all have them!), wear what you feel good in, and live your life with Joy. Enjoy yourself, enjoy your family, enjoy your time with friends, and throw away all that unnecessary insecurity stuff, that truly Does Not matter.
